On the occasion of  book donation day The Republican Scientific Medical Library organized intellectual game “What? Where? When?”. The participants of the game were graduate students of the Mehrabyan Medical College. The winners received new books.

On January 30, 2020, the recurrent meeting of doctor truents took place at Ministry of Health Republic Scientific Medical Library of Armenia. The gust was a doctor, handmade master Nune Chukhadzhian.

On December 26, 2019, the final meeting of medical doctors was held at the Ministry of Health Republican Scientific Medical Library of Armenia in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Talented doctors presented their poems, proverbs and original songs.

At the end of the anniversary year, the results of the photo contest “The library through my eyes” at the Republican Scientific-Medical Library were summed up, and the winner was Sevak Mirabyan.

On December 20, the annual event "The Best Reader of 2019" was held at the Republican Scientific Medical Library. Hayk Khachatryan and Levon Karapetyan were awarded diplomas “Best Reader of 2019” and books. And Mark and Andrew Gregory, who helped the library throughout the year, were gifted with T-shirts with Armenian bird ornaments.

On November 28, 2019, at the Republican Scientific Medical Library of Health Ministry of Armenia two books were presented by Argam Ayvazyan, a member of the club of medical doctors. The author presented the life and path of doctors Garegin Sargsyan and Aristakes Zargaryan.

On October 23, 2019, the recurrent meeting of doctor truants took place at the Republican Scientific Medical Library of  Health Ministry of Armenia. The guest of the Library was painter Levon Tjagharyan. Some of the presented works are shown  in the library reading-room.

On October 7, 2019 Dr. Tom Catena, 2017 Prize Laureate of the 2017 Aurora International Humanitarian Initative, was a guest at the Republican Scientific Medical Library of Health Ministry of Armenia.

On September 27-28, a Quodlibet on the topic "The status of pharmaceutical aid organizations in Armenia" took place at the Republican Scientific Medical Library. Maria Galstyan, graduate of the Institute of Pharmacy at the Yerevan State University, took 1^st place. Arevik Hunanyan and Nahash Bagdasaryan came in 2^nd and 3^rd place, respectively. 

On September 26, 2019, a ceremony took place commemorating the 80^th year anniversary of the Ministry of Health Republican Scientific Medical Library of Armenia. Attendants included old and new colleagues, medical directors, readers, artists, guests from Moscow, and the children of benefactor and neurosurgeon at Columbia University Edgar Hovsepian who greatly contributed to maintaning the development of the library.

On September 12, 2019 the recurrent meeting of doctor truants took place at the Republican Scientific Medical library of Armenia. At this meeting, the guest was doctor and artist Oremyan Haykazuni.

On June, 2019 the recurrent meeting of medical doctors took place at the Republican Scientific Medical library of Armenia. Poet Anna Muradyan, composer Khachik Khachikyan, and aphorism writer Robert Adamyan presented their work.

On May, 2019, the recurrent meeting of doctors took place at the Republic Scientific Medical Library. At this meeting, a unique exhibition titled "Art in Nature" was organized in the summer park whehe talented doctor-artists presented their work. 

On April 25, the recurrent meeting of doctor truants took place at the Republic Scientific Medical Library. At this meeting, the participants were Arev Pichemyan, radiologist and bibliographer, and Tigran Tunyan, the head of the Psychiatry Division of the Yerevan Garrison Hospital of the Ministry of Armenia.

On April 16, 2019, within the framwork of the National Library Week at the Ministry of Health Republic Scientific Medical Library of Armenia, the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" took place with participating students from the Library Department  of the YSPU. The atmosphere was interesting and conductive to the meeting.

On March 28, 2019 the recurrent meeting of medical doctors took place at Republic Scientific Medical Library. The guest was doctor, talented actor, producer and director Armen Arnautov. During the meetng, he presented his journey and artistic work.

 On March 21, 2019 in the Ministry of Health Republican Scientific Medical Library of Armenia, a video lecture took place on the topic "How to improve the mental health of patients with congenital heart diseases".

On February 28, 2019, the recurrent meeting of medical doctors took place at the Ministry of Health Republican Scientific Medical Library of Armenia during which Dr. Karbis Hapoyan from the US presented his work through a video broadcast. 

 On January 31, 2019 at 4 PM, the recurrent meeting of medical doctors took place at the Ministry of Health Republican Scientific Medical Library of Armenia during which Yuriy Aleksanyan, doctor, professor, and academician of NAS (National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia), and Lyusin Voskanyan, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, and Ecology of the Armenian State Medical University, presented the author’s manual on immunology. 

  On February 24 "Alternative hypertension, guidelines - clinical cases" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the head of the emergency cardiology department in Yerevan State Medical University, the chief of the general and cardiology clinic, Ph.D., professor H.S. Sissakyan.

  On February 22 "Weak but independent" video-conferencing from Boston was held in RSML conducted through telecommunication by gerontologist Armen Arslanyan.

  On February 17 "Palliative Care - worthy goodbye to majestic life" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the profsssor of the Anesthesiology and Intensive care department, the president of the Armenian Association for the study of pain, palliative care specialist Narine Movsisyan.

 The 12th issue of the Armenian Medical Review Journal (AMRJ) was published, which was dedicated to the progress of the "Evidence Based Medecine" concepts in the national health, scientific, educational and practical fields. The electronic version of the journal can be read in the library website. 

  On November 24 "The latest updates in the field of cardiology" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the head of the emergency cardiology department in Yerevan State Medical University, the chief of the general and cardiology clinic, Ph.D., professor H.S. Sissakyan.

  On November 10 "Modern aspects of peripeheral neuropathy" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by "Heratsi" N1 Hospital Complex neurologist, clinical neurophysiologist Ph.D. Bella Grigoryan and Ph.D. Marina Movsisyan - Department of Diagnostic Radiology.

    On October 20 "The first aid of Dermatological Problems" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the president of The Armenian Medical Association of Great Britain Dr. Seda Boghossian Tighe. 

   On July 29 "Efficient models of medical consultation" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by anaesthesiologist-resuscitation specialist, head of resuscitation and intensive care department at Erebouni MC, director of "Vardanants" center for innovative medicine, Ph.D. Haroutyun Mangoyan.

    On July 21 "Modern approaches to deizziness" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by "Heratsi" N1 Hospital Complex neorologist MD Yekaterina Hovhannisyan. 

   On July 15 "Modern therapy of systemic vasculits" video-conferencig was held in RSML conducted by "Heratsi" N1 Hospital Complex rheumatologist Qnarik Ginosyan.

    On June 11 "Peripheral nerve regeneration" video-conferencig was held in RSML online conducted by the specialist in neurosurgery & microsurgery, MD, Ph.D, Prof. Shimon Rochkind from Israel.

    On June 30 "Modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune thyroiditis" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by physician-endocrinologist, MD Zara Sahradyan from Armenian-American Wellness Center.

  On June 16 video-conferencing from USA was held in RSML conducted by plastic surgeon Alen Gabriel who applied A.C.Ulta™ Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System to a patient online, thus answering the doctors' questions joined from Gyumri and Stepanakert as well.

  The meeting of doctor truants was held in a positive and pleasant atmosphere in RSML. During the meeting doctor Ara Gevorgyan represented his three-volume book "The Army of Tigran the Great". Besides, Manuk Mankukyan's play of "Tsitsernak" by harmonica pleasantly enhanced the mood of participants.

  On May 26 "Good clinical practice, experience and perspectives of clinical researches in Armenia" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the head of clinical researches of FMD K&L Europe CRO (contract research organization) MPH, Ph.D(c) Anush Perikhanyan.

  On May 26 "Peripheral Nerves Armed Conflict Injury" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the specialist in neurosurgery & microsurgery, MD, Ph.D, Prof. Shimon Rochkind from Israel.

  On April 22 "Consultation skills in general practice" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the president of The Armenian Medical Association of Great Britain Dr. Seda Boghossian Tighe. 

  On April 14 "The primary prevention of stroke in Armenia" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by "Heratsi" N1 Hospital Complex neorologist MD Yekaterina Hovhannisyan. 

   On April 12 "Wound VAC (Vacuum Assisted Closure) Healing" video-conferencing was held in RSML conducted by plastic surgeon, MD.Ph.D Gevorg Yaghjyan ("Heratsi" N 1 Hospital Complex, clinic of microsurgery and plastic reconstructive surgery) and traumatologist-orthopedist Khachatur Karapetyan (Gyumri MC). The doctors from RA regions, Artsakh and Cleveland clinic joined the online discussion as well. 

   On  March 17 "Time to remember the hematologist" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by hematologist at "Hematology center after prof. Yolyan MH RA" , MD Yervand Hakobyan.

   On February 25 "Breating disorders during sleep, Obstructive Sleep Apnea syndrome (OSA)" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by pulmonogist, chief of Sleep Laboratory at "Izmirlian" medical center, MD Marine Petrosyan.

   On January 21 "Pulmonary Hyertension" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by professor H.S. Sissakyan.

   On December 10 "Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by professor H.S. Sissakyan..

   On November 26 "Rational Antibiotic Therapy" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by anaesthesiologist- resuscitation specialist, head of resuscitation and intensive care department at Erebouni MC, director of "Vardanants" center for innovative medicine, Ph.D. Haroutyun Mangoyan.

   On November 19 "Joint Syndrome Differential Diagnosis" video conferencing (Yerevan-Kapan-Stepanakert-Gavar-Abovyan) was held in RSML conducted by "Heratsi" N1 hospital complex rheumatologist Sussanna Manukyan. Doctor Marina Movsisyan referred to the joints' ultrasound examination questions.

 On October 29 "Diabetic Foot Syndrome" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by the head of Diabetic Foot department at "Qanaqer Zeytoun" MC, chairwoman of the Armenian Association of the Diabetic Foot, representative of Armenia in IWGDF, surgeon Nune Soghomonyan.

 On October 15  "Atrial Fibrilation" video conferencing was held in RSML conducted by professor H.S. Sissakyan.

 On September 25, the participants of the 2nd International Conference on ''Evidence Based Medicine: From Theory to Practice" and the workshop of the Young Scientists School II, as well the professors and lecturers planted a fir tree symbolizing the Evidence Based Medicine in the garden of the RSML.
